16 January 1991. 6.10 pm EST.The Coalition forces led by Unites States start Operation Desert Storm.The Task Force Normandy,8 US AH-64-Apache helo's under command of 2 HH-53 "Super Jolly Green Giant" MH-53 Pave Low combat aircraft ravaged Iraqi radar sites near the Iraqi-Saudi Arabian border.The radars would never again do their duty of warning upcoming attacks.
Soon enough US airforces would destroy Iraqi military targets,dams,irrigation projects,airports, power stations and communications. Iraq paid for the unjust attack on Kuwait and a country which was one of the more developed Arab nations hit rock bottom.
